The market’s attention turned towards September contract pricing this week. One buyer confirmed settling September CGP at up 2.5 cents/lb however no other settlements were heard this week. If the market does indeed settle up 2.5 cents/lb, September CGP would be at 58.50 cents/lb while PGP would be at 60 cents/lb. In spot, September RGP opened the week at 45.50 cents/lb and early week activity saw both August and September offered at 46.50 cents/lb while buyers bid September at 45.25 cents/lb MtB pipe. September PGP continued to be offered at 60 cents/lb MtB pipe however no corresponding bids were seen. Midweek activity saw September RGP trade at 45.50 cents/lb MtB pipe.
