The January Mexican ethylene contract for the domestic market was heard at $904/mt FOB. A source at Pemex said this week they don’t have any exports for January. “Plants are working at 100% capacity but we don’t have any product available for export,” confirmed the source. Downstream, Pemex, increased PE offers for the domestic market between 4-9.5%, sources said this week. HDPE blowmolding and injection were the resins with the biggest offer price increases, up 9.5% compared to December.
