US butadiene this remained in tight supply with some talking the price above $1.05/lb CIF USG. With buyers still hungry for material, traders tried to work material from Europe or Asia. From Europe the problem was that no one could collect enough volume to fill a ship. Rdam-US freight was pegged at $250-275/mt. In the Far East, the price on paper was workable. However, vessel space was tight given that any available ship was sent to the US.
