PP RAFFIA/INJ: Polypropylene raffia/injection on a CFR Far East Asia basis rolled over on the week ending at $1,235/mt Wednesday. It inched up $5/mt in Southeast Asia to end at $1,250/mt CFR SE Asia, while South Asia saw the largest gain of $40/mt on the week to $1,290/mt CFR South Asia. In FE Asia, buyers were taking a wait-and-see approach. The sharpest offer in FE Asia was from an Indian producer at $1,250/mt CFR China. “We have yet to conclude any deals as people are still waiting,” said the producer. Market participants were waiting for more offers to be announced, especially from the Middle East.
