Low density polyethylene remains the PE grade with the largest margin, with feedstock ethylene in short supply across the region. Far East Asia prices rolled over from last week at $1,335/mt CFR, while South East Asia prices dropped $35/mt to end at $1,375/mt CFR on Wednesday. The Chinese market was closed Monday through Wednesday and market participants across the region were unable to get any cues, as they had been tracking the Chinese PE markets closely.
