Prices plunged $20-35/mt Thursday compared with Friday last week as offers in China fell to about $1,180/mt CFR while deepsea cargoes were heard offered as low as $1,130/mt. In China, Jinshan Associated bought a 1,500-mt H2 September cargo for October 3-5 delivery $1,160/mt CFR China, L/C 60 days, earlier in the week. Mitsui and Sumitomo sold H2 September parcels at $1,180/mt CFR China each. Nantong Huaqing was offering an H2 September parcel at $1,190/mt CFR China.
