China's Sinopec Maoming restarts 610,000 mt/year aromatics plant

Singapore-China's Sinopec Maoming has restarted a 610,000 mt/year aromatics plant at its complex in southwestern Guangdong province Wednesday, industry sources said. The aromatics plant, which was shut December 5 for scheduled maintenance, is able to produce 240,000 mt/year of benzene, 140,000 mt/year of toluene and 105,000 mt/year of xylenes, among others.
