Brazilian offers for LLDPE in the Mercosur area for September climbed by $100-150/mt, a Braskem source said this week. To Argentina, offers were at $1,800-1,850/mt CFR for butene and at $1,900- 1,950/mt CFR for hexene. A Paraguayan buyer said they were studying the market for September purchases, but they were tending to buy from Brazil at this time due to the shorter time delivery.
