Import offers rose a penny/lb following higher FOB offers out of Asia where PX has run $100/mt higher on the week. Offers were heard at and over 58 cents/lb delivered to the West Coast for September arrival. The offer was attractive except that the fast increase in PX gave pause to some who thought the increase had the markings of a bubble and could just as easily crash in a month and pull down domestic prices and import demand with it.
