Spot LLDPE export prices rebounded 1 cent/lb on snug supply out of the US. There were bids for export containers at 65 cents/lb FAS Houston but offers were over 70 cents/lb FAS. The wide gap made deals impossible. Producers had no pressure to let go of material at a lower price with spot ethylene at 68 cents/lb. "Producers can just sell ethylene rather than enter the spot market," a supplier said. While there was talk of inventory building in the US, it did not result in more offers from US producers.
