Northwest European acrylonitrile-butadiene-styrene prices established week-on-week increases of Eur20/mt to Eur1,940/mt for general purposeatural grade product, Eur2,240/mt for coloreds and Eur2,290/mt for high-heat grade material. Broadly, the majority of settlements concluded into August were done at an increase of Eur100-120/mt, market sources said. Consumption volumes picked up amid strong appetites for re-building inventories, but overall sentiment remained cautiously optimistic. Prices were building momentum northward, driven by rising feedstock spot prices, which postured for a higher contract price settlement in September.
