Trading activities in the Far East and Southeast Asian markets were sluggish this week as most market participants were out of trading as the region celebrates the Lunar New Year holidays. Singapore and South Korea markets were closed January 26 and 27, while China and Taiwan are closed from January 25-31, and January 24-February 1, respectively.
