GPPS: Asian general purpose polystyrene was assessed downa marginal $1/mt from last week at $1,479/mt CFR ChinaWednesday. The sharpest offer was heard at $1,480/mt froma Taiwanese producer, while upstream styrene monomer rose$32/mt week on week to $1,362/mt CFR China. Thedomestic price range was heard at Yuan 11,700-13,300/mtin the east and south of China, roughly $1,476-1,678/mt onan import parity basis. No price was heard the previousweek due to the week-long national holiday in China.
