The most rapid falls of the weekoccurred on Thursday and Friday, when prices dropped$20.5/mt and $20/mt, respectively. The forward structure ofthe market varied throughout the course of the week.Backwardation flipped into contango on Wednesday, but byFriday, a July to August contango had returned while June toJuly remained backwardated. “No one is confident in themarket,” a producer said, explaining the dip in July pricesalong the curve.
