Despite seeing producers nominate further increases for the February contract prices, US propylene was relatively steady for the week. the market opened the week with a refinery-grade deal heard done at 72.50 cents/lb. It also reported a polymer- grade deal done at 75 cents/lb for Februrary, 1.5 cents lower than the previous January deal and 3 cents lower than a 78- cent/lb deal the previous week.
