Spot NWE butadiene prices continued to come off strongly thisweek as softening global demand and excessive length inEurope forced offers down, sources said. Coming from a recentposition of relative strength, prices were said to be slidingquickly and in large steps. One producer said the market was“changing on a daily basis.” The market direction was clear,however, with all players in the market acknowledging thatprices were dropping.
