The March formula derived PTA contract was hold on for the paraxylene contract. February's PTA CP was 68.63 cents/lb, and sources believed it would increase again as PX was anticipated to climb for at least another month by about 3-4 cents/lb. This would add roughly 2-2.68 cents/lb to the PTA CP.
