US acrylonitrile-butadiene-styrene prices fell slightly on the week, assessed at 124 cents/lb delivered rail car Wednesday. Demand was heard to be stronger for August, with the uptick expected to carry into September, one producer said. However, prices were not reacting to the increase in demand, remaining in the low 120's cents/lb and not expected to rise much more, sources said. Lower ABS levels were partially attributed to current supply length.
