CFR Peru price assessments jumped $55/mt week on week to $1,500-1,510/mt CFR, with offers from Asia going to the country at $1,520/mt CFR. Bids for resin in Peru were heard around $1,490/mt CFR. US offers to Peru were at $1,560/mt CFR, but a buyer said availability from the US shredded this month. “Many customers in Peru have inventories, but because of the worry of offers going up again in September, many are purchasing at the moment albeit in small quantities,” said the buyer.
