EDC:US ethylene dichloride (EDC) prices were assessed at either side of $270/mt FOB USG, an increase of $10/mt week over week. The price increase was driven by higher feedstock ethylene and chlorine values. Sluggish trading activity was reported after some participants returned from the long Easter weekend, even after some traders anticipated last week that April will be more active for deep-sea cargos to Asia.
