Asian acrylonitrile prices rose this week ahead of turnaround season in September and October. The CFR Far East Asia and CFR Southeast Asia markers were assessed Tuesday at $1,855/mt and $1,895/mt, respectively, up $25/mt and $15/mt week on week, while the CFR South Asia marker remained unchanged over the same period at $1,780/mt. An August cargo was traded last week at $1,840/mt CFR China, while an end August cargo was offered this week at $1,900/mt CFR China, up $50/mt week on week.
