The US polypropylene price was expected to climb despite a recent drop in the initial March propylene contract price, sources said this week. "Polypropylene is very interesting these days," a source said. "The spot market went down significantly — all the way into the low 70s [cents/lb] with the spot propylene market settling lower. But now, we're expecting it to start climbing again."
