Asian high density polyethylene inched up this week on theback of continued bullish market sentiment carried over fromlast week. The benchmark film-grade assessment ended at$1,365/mt CFR Far East Asia, up $15/mt week on week. InSoutheast Asia, it was up $35/mt to $1,380/mt CFR; while inSouth Asia it was up $80/mt week on week to $1,380/mt CFR.There were few offers available in the market. Key producers areexpected to announce August shipment cargoes starting nextweek. Traders maintained offers at more than $1,380/mt CFRChina, but received little buying interest. One Japanese traderoffered cargoes at $1,370/mt CFR China, but struggled to findbuyers at this level too.
