The Asian low density polyethylene price was up $20/mt, or 1.2%, week on week, as supply remained tight. LDPE was assessed at $1,680/mt CFR in both Far East Asia and Southeast Asia Wednesday. As lower-priced cargoes get traded in small parcels, the market is now left with more expensive cargoes. Market participants are awaiting offers from key producers, who are expected to announce their monthly offers next week.
