Eurozone Nov PMI shows contractionfor third month running

London—Eurozone business activity showed the thirdconsecutive month of contraction in November, with the flashPurchasing Manager’s Composite Output Index for the month at 47.2 points, London-based financial information servicescompany Markit said Wednesday. The rate of contraction,however, had slowed from the 46.5 points reported for theindex in October. An index figure below 50 indicates eurozonemanufacturing is contracting.
