Prices rose $88/mt for blow molding as producers let go ofsignificant volumes at the end of June and early July whichtightened supply. Initial June trade data also showed producedsold 4% more volume in June compared to May. Spot exportoffers were more scarce this week. Blow molding was bid at offered at 59 cents/lb in railcars delivered to Houston for exportto Latin America. Small volumes of less than 100mt wereworkable at a higher price, traders said but deals were few. HDfilm was at a slight premium to blow molding but liquidity wasslow. A week ago there were export deals for China but pricesnecessary to make that trade viable this week were no longeravailable. Producers were now focused on the higher pricedSouth American market and their own domestic market.
