US spot propylene resisted roller coaster-like movements inenergy to close Friday assessed on either side of 68 cents/lb,flat week on week. Much like the assessment, the market washeard relatively stable on the shortened week, with RGPtalked between 67-70 cents/lb MtB pipe after last being hearddone at 68 cents/lb. Polymer-grade propylene, meanwhile,was heard bid Wednesday and Thursday around 74-74.75cents/lb, with no offers to counter, according to sources. “Nointerested sellers at that price,” a source with a majorproducer said of the lack of offers. The thin activity could bethe result of the market waiting on the July contracts to settle.
