The initial European February propylene contract price was settled at Eur875/mt ($1,233/mt) FD NWE Tuesday. The initial settlement was done by Sabic Europe as a seller and DSM as a buyer, a source at Sabic confirmed. DSM also confirmed its involvement shortly after the settlement. Polimeri and LyondellBasell then confirmed having followed the settlement later in the day as the second buyer and seller. The settlement represents a Eur85/mt increase on January’s contract price of Eur790/mt.
