The US butadiene August contract price settled at a split this week. Three producers settled at 175 cents/lb and another producer settled at 186 cents/lb. LyondellBasell and Shell intially nominated their contracts to 180 cents/lb for August, however, on Monday they were heard shaving off 5 cents to meet the TPC nomination at 175 cents/lb, said a source.
