For the Brazilian domestic market, butadiene pricesslipped 10% over September following price decreases inthe USGC, a Braskem source said. Butadiene contractprices in the US went down a dramatic 30 cents/lb fromOctober. After the decrease, the butadiene CP for theBrazilian domestic market was heard at around $3,300/mtFOB. Brazil’s butadiene demand was firm with signs ofpossible improvement in the growing automobileindustry.
