A source at the 700,000mt/year Artlant purified terephthalicacid plant in Sines, Portugal, said last week he expected tobegin deliveries of PTA by the end of the year. Artlant’s parentcompany, La Seda de Barcelona, said in its third quarterfinancial results this month that deliveries are scheduled tobegin during Q1 2012. One trader said he heard that deliveriesare expected to begin in March or April.
