A slide in styrene that saw prices down $80/mt this week ended Friday with barges for February rebounding $5/mt on the back of stronger benzene. A 1kt Feb parcel was reported done at $1,185/mt with BMS selling to a trader, BMS confirmed. Spot prices fell $75/mt versus last week’s assessment of $1,260/mt FOB Rotterdam, according to Platts.
