Ongoing production issues have allowed producers to achieve September increases of up to Eur35/mt ($44/mt), with the possibility of further increases to come, sources said this week. One producer reported achieving increases of between “Eur25-35/mt” for early month settlements, and this was supported by two separate German converters. One said: “I think we’ll reach a settlement at an increase of Eur30/mt” whilst the second agreed adding that the increase would take net price levels in Germany to “just over Eur800/mt FD” for September.
