Spot export prices were steady with no deals as producersstill had little interest in exporting. There was an exportoffer at 67 cents/lb in railcars for HDPE blow molding andHDPE film. Typically film grade commands a premium overblow molding but with domestic demand weak for HD filmthere was no premium from the producer on the offer. 67cents/lb was several cents/lb too high for what a price wouldhave to be to export HDPE considering the heavycompetition from Asian producers. HDPE blow molding hadto be offered at about $1,550/mt (70 cents/lb) CFR to SouthAmerican ports in order to compete with Asian offers, whichwould netback to the USG at around $1,450/mt.
