European spot prices continued to strengthen on higher offers Wednesday, as the prompt bullish momentum persisted. Pronounced shortages in fractional melts 0.3 and 0.8 continued, while some sources commented that it was also difficult to secure MFI-2 with and without additives this week. Spot values were very range bound, with traders reporting business at Eur1,100-1,230/mt FD NWE level, with lower values reflecting exotic product of limited optionality. Spot values were assessed at Eur1,190-1,200/mt ($1,660) FD NWE Wednesday.
