The assessment for spot homo-injection grade polypropylene remained flat at Eur990-1,000/mt FD NWE this week as trading sources pegged the market in the wider range of Eur980-1,020/mt FD NWE. One consumer said he had concluded a deal for 75mt homo-injection grade, February delivery, with an Eastern European producer at Eur1,045/mt FD NWE, but that the deal was part of regular monthly business following monomer price movements and not representative of open spot market activity.
