Asian ethylene ended the week largely flat at $1,205/mt CFR Northeast Asia and $1,132/mt CFR Southeast Asia, while the FOB Korea benchmark gained $27 to settle at $1,168/mt. For the week, the CFR NEA benchmark gained $42.75, or 3.7%, while the CFR SEA benchmark was up by $9, or 0.8%. Ethylene was propelled by bullish crude this week, as NYMEX crude persistently stayed above $85/barrel.
