European spot values have increased further this week on higher offers. “Looking at our new prices we have to implement Eur1,150/mt FD NWE net level on all HDPE grades but at the moment we have not reached this level, spot prices are just marginally higher,” a distribution source said. “Injection is the hardest grade to sell for us, we have to make concessions as the demand is not particularly strong there,” he added. Spot values were assessed at Eur1,050-1,060/mt FD NWE for injection and Eur1,070-1,080/mt FD NWE level for blowmolding and film grades.
