IEA,OPEC press for added investment to guarantee security of oil supply

Johannesburg- Two top officials representing the industrialized world's consuming countries and the OPEC oil producers' cartel Sep 28 called for the investment needed in the global upstream and downstream sectors of the oil industry in order to guarantee future supply ddressing the World Petroleum Congress in Johannesburg,Claude Mandil,executive director of the International Energy Agency,said global crude production and downstream refining capacity levels had reached unprecedented levels of tightness.
