BP to invest 1-bil to modernize Texas City

New York-BP issued its final report Dec 9 on the Mar 23 explosion that killed 15 contract workers and injured 170 at its flagship Texas City refinery,saying it will implement a broad range of safety steps and invest l-bil to modernize the 460,000 b/d refinery over five years."We accept the findings,and we are working to make Texas City a complex that attains the highest levels of safety,reliability and environmental performance," said Ross Pillari,president of BP Products North America.
