US independent EOG Resources will spend US19-mil to drill two wells in the first phase of exploration of an offshore block east of Trinidad & Tobago,the company said July 6.EOG and its Trinidadian partner Primera Oil and Gas signed a production-sharing contract July 6 with the Ministry of Energy for the 457 sq km Block 4a in the East Coast Marine Area.EOG plans to start drilling in the fourth quarter with the first phase to last three years.
