Jakarta-Indonesian state-owned power company Perusahaan Listrik Negara plans to switch to LPG at 12 of its diesel and natural gas-fired plants over the next two years,a senior PLN official said July 25.That will require an added 3.05-mil mt/year of LPG,said primary energy director Ali Herman Ibrahim.The utility plans to start using LPG at four plants this year,requiring around 850,000 mt/year,Ali said.The four are the 218 MW gas-fired Tambak Lorok plant in Semarang;the 60 MW gas-fired Sunyaragi plant in Cire-bon,West Java;the 34 MW gas-fired Siantan plant in West Kalimantan;and 49.6 MW Sei Kledang diesel-fired plant in Samarinda,Kalimantan.
