Anadarko awards contract for Nova Scotia LNG plan

New York-Chicago Bridge & Iron(CB&I)said Aug 23 it has been awarded a 100-mil lump-sum turnkey contract by Anadarko Petroleum for the design and building of storage tanks for a new LNG import terminal near Port Hawkesbury on Cape Breton,Nova Scotia,Canada.The facility will be owned and operated by an Anadarko subsidiary,Bear Head LNG Corp.The Bear Head LNG project involves the construction and operation of a 7.5-mil mt/year capacity LNG terminal,with a sendout capacity of 1 Bcf/d,CB&I said in a statement(ON 7/1).
