Dubai-Saudi Arabian oil minister Ali Naimi said Feb 8 the kingdom was producing 9-mil b/d of crude until further notice,though he told reporters in Riyadh it was too early to say what OPEC would do when it meets next month.Naimi,speaking at a news conference after addressing an international anti-terror conference in the Saudi capital,also said he was more concerned with the damaging effect of market volatility than he was with actual price levels.
