Iran signs deal with Total,Petronas on Pars LNG

France's Total and Malaysia's Petronas Feb 25 signed a US2-bil agreement with Iran setting up Pars LNG,a joint company that plans to produce 8-mil mt/yr of LNG from the giant South Pars field,Iranian television reported.National Iranian Oil Co will hold 50% of the new company,while Total and Petronas will hold 30% and 20% respectively.LNG production could be on the market in five years.
