US EIA adds Saudi Arabia to oil 'watch' list

Saudi Arabia has been included for the first time in the US Energy Information Administration's World Energy "Areas to Watch," alongside such countries as Algeria, Iran, Iraq, Nigeria, Russia and Venezuela.The EIA, statistics arm of the US energy department, says the countries listed in the report are "important from an oil and/or natural gas perspective," and currently or potentially "confronting significant economic, political, or other issues that could affect domestic or world oil and gas markets."
