NYMEX in agreement to create exchange in Dubai

The New York Mercantile Exchange has signed a memorandum of understanding with the Dubai Development and Investment Authority to develop a commodities exchange in Dubai,a spokesman for the DDIA said Feb 16.The two sides will now conduct a feasibility study for three to four months before deciding the type of products to list on the proposed exchange,said Ahmed Shehouri,the DDIA's sourcing manager.
