Shell Feb 20 said it was unable to comment on reports it planned to quit the BP-op-erated 200,000 b/d Greater Plutonia project offshore Angola.Industry analysts said the UK supermajor had opened data rooms in Houston and the Netherlands to sell off its 50% stake in block 18,which is estimated to hold reserves of up to 1-bil bbl.Six fields have been discovered in block 18:Platina,Colbalto,Paladio,Cromio,Galio and Plutonia,which are being developed through the Greater Plutonia project.
