The degree days indicator for US heating oil demand for Febrfuary 2004 was 9.6% less than for February 2003 and 1.9% less than normal.The indicator is comprised of the average degree days for 18 geographically representative US cities,weighted to reflect the cities' relative consumption of home heating oil.
