India's Hindustan,Bharat Petroleum plan output boost

Indian state-owned refining majors Hindustan Petroleum Corp Ltd and Bharat Petroleum Corp Ltd aim to process about 22.2-mil mt of crude in fiscal 2004-05 (April-March),up from the FY2003-04 target and representing almost 112% of their combined refining capacity of 19.9-mil mt/yr.In a memorandum of understanding signed with the Ministry of Petroleum and Natural Gas Mar 29,HPCL agreed to target 104% utilization of its 13-mil mt/yr (260,000 b/d) refining capacity in FY2004-05.
